The Alima Program is a comprehensive 6-year course in the Sacred Sciences taught entirely in Arabic from the second year onwards. Designed for committed young women aged 16-20, this program offers intensive training in classical Islamic scholarship, equipping you with the tools to live, teach, and lead as a beacon of faith in your community.

Program Overview

  • Location: 43 Elizabeth St, Fawkner, VIC 3060

  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM - 12:45 PM

  • Eligibility: Females aged 16-20 with the ability to read Arabic.

This intensive program is specifically designed for individuals passionate about pursuing scholarship and earning authorisation (ijaza) in the Islamic sciences.

Subjects Covered

  • Arabic Language: Reading, writing, and speaking fluently in Arabic.

  • Qur’ānic Exegesis (Tafsīr): Exploring the meanings and principles of understanding the Quran.

  • Prophetic Traditions (Hadīth): Study of authentic narrations and their methodologies.

  • Islamic Jurisprudence (Fiqh): Deep dives into Islamic law and its foundational principles.

  • Islamic Belief (Aqīdah): Comprehensive study of Islamic theology.

  • And Many More: Expand your knowledge with additional subjects vital to Islamic scholarship.
